NASSCO PACP, MACP & LACP Inspector Training CoursesCurrent Course Schedule
What are PACP, MACP & LACP Courses All About ??
NASSCO - PACP - Pipeline Assessment Certification Program
NASCCO (National Association of Sewer Service Companies) first developed the Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) to resolve two major issues facing sewer pipeline inspections. The first was to establish a uniform, standardized method to identify and classify all pipeline defects by CCTV equipment operators. The PACP course teaches operators to identify and classify pipe defects for entry into a database format. PACP is also the standard for computer software developers used to record pipe defects, images and videos in a standardized database format. PACP compliant software allows for database information to be shared or integrated between software packages supplied by different software companies.
NASSCO - MACP - Manhole Assessment Certification Program
Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP) is an extension of PACP dedicated to manhole assessment. MACP is dual purpose, first to train inspectors (operators) to identify and record problems using a uniform classification system and second to organize collected information within an organized database for future reference.
NASSCO - LACP - Lateral Assessment Certification Program
With the development of lateral CCTV inspection equipment, the Lateral Assessment Certification Program was added. LACP focuses on inspections of sewer laterals whether from the sewer main or from a structure. Data is recorded within a structured database for future reference use.
